The NKC Group builds partnerships with local governments to accelerate and expand efforts in addressing social issues, contributing to the creation of a sustainable future.

Welfare for children and people with disabilities

We are committed to connecting people and communities to create inclusive, vibrant spaces where everyone can live with vitality and a sense of belonging. Focusing on child and disability welfare, we opened Nakaniwa Café in Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street (Osaka, Kita-ku) in 2022, operating it as both a welfare café and Children’s Cafeteria. In addition, we have been engaged in scholarship programs for over half a century.

Tampopo Action

The NKC Group launched Tampopo Action in 2023 as an initiative that enables anyone to take part in social contribution easily and enjoyably. It aims to create more opportunities for those tiny, heartwarming moments that make people feel connected, while encouraging everyone to learn about social issues, give them thought, and then take action.

Supporting startups

Since the early 2000s, the NKC Group has supported entrepreneurs and startups in Osaka. Our support extends beyond manufacturing to include a wide range of fields such as healthcare, welfare, and IT, providing an environment where we can grow together.

Well-being management

We are committed to fostering a workplace environment where employees can work in good health and happiness, both physically and mentally. Building on our longstanding efforts to ensure comfortable workplaces and promote health-focused management, we will adopt Well-being Management as a core principle from 2025 onward, placing employee happiness at the forefront of our efforts like never before.

Occupational health and safety

Guided by the belief that safety takes precedence over everything, the NKC Group actively promotes health and safety initiatives. At each site, the Safety and Health Committee leads efforts aimed at achieving zero workplace accidents.

D&I

We promote D&I with the goal of creating an organization where diverse talents can fully express their individuality and abilities. In 2022, we launched the in-house project D&I Lab., advancing initiatives to build an environment where everyone can find meaning and fulfillment in their work.

ISO certification status

Since obtaining ISO9001 certification in 1998, the NKC Group has steadily expanded ISO certification across its domestic and overseas locations.
