The NKC Group aims to be an organization in which every employee adopts a managerial perspective and is empowered to take bold initiatives. To achieve this, we promote positively-oriented compliance, a reflection of NKC’s own approach to taking up new challenges. While new endeavors naturally involve unknown risks, we emphasize setting robust objectives and principles as anchors for decision-making, rather than letting anxiety lead to hesitation or giving up. By strengthening each individual’s ability to think and decide proactively and autonomously, and by facing and overcoming risks rather than avoiding them, we believe we can carve out an exciting future with our own acts. This embodies the NKC way of embracing challenge.
Legal risk management
Legal risk is one of the critical risks that companies must confront. As societal expectations for legal compliance continue to rise, cases of companies suffering significant losses due to mismanagement of legal issues are increasing. Since January 2024, the NKC Group has conducted Legal Risk Assessments to measure and evaluate legal risks specific to the structure and business characteristics of each division and affiliated company, and to consider appropriate countermeasures. These assessments evaluate the magnitude and nature of individual legal risks within each business, allowing the Group to implement measures to control them, prevent or mitigate potential future losses, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and simultaneously maximize long-term business outcomes.
Compliance Initiatives
At the NKC Group, we implement educational activities, including e-learning and training programs, to encourage employees to engage with compliance issues and view them as their personal responsibility. Efforts are made to make these programs engaging and entertaining, and we collaborate with in-house creators to produce original NKC video content.
