Personal Information Protection Policy

Nakanishi Metal Works Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws, regulations, and ordinances. To ensure proper management and protection of personal information, the Company has established the following policy.

  • The Company shall establish internal regulations concerning personal information, make them known to all officers and employees, and appoint a person responsible for handling personal information in each department that manages such information to ensure appropriate management.
  • The Company shall obtain personal information by lawful and fair means after clearly specifying the purpose of use.
  • Except as permitted by law, the Company shall not use personal information beyond the scope of its stated purpose without the individual’s consent.
  • Except as permitted by law, the Company shall not disclose or provide personal information to any third party without the individual’s consent.
  • The Company shall strive to enhance security to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of, or unauthorized access to, personal information, thereby ensuring its accuracy and safe management.
  • The Company shall appropriately respond to inquiries and other requests from individuals regarding their personal information in accordance with applicable laws and the Company’s prescribed procedures.
  • The Company shall continuously improve its efforts related to personal information protection in response to changes in the social environment.

Public Notice Based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information

In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Act”), Nakanishi Metal Works Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) hereby makes the following public disclosure.

  • 2.Purpose of Use of Personal Information

    Except in cases falling under the statutory exceptions*1, the Company uses personal information for the following purposes:

    • To provide and inform about the Company’s products and services.
    • To plan, develop, and conduct research on the Company’s products and services.
    • To fulfill obligations or exercise rights under laws, regulations, or contracts.
    • To respond to inquiries, requests, and other communications addressed to the Company.
    • To perform administrative tasks related to shares (for shareholders’ personal information).
    • To perform administrative tasks related to recruitment activities (for personal information of applicants to the Company’s recruitment programs):
      • a. For recruitment screening and other tasks related to hiring decisions.
      • b. For planning and research related to recruitment activities.
    • To perform administrative tasks related to employment (for personal information of officers, employees, and retirees):
      • a. For employment, personnel management, and related administrative tasks.
      • b. For tasks related to safety, health, and employee welfare.
    • For other purposes for which prior consent has been obtained.

    *1 Statutory exceptions refer to the following cases:

    • When required by law or regulation.
    • When it is necessary for the protection of an individual’s life, body, or property and obtaining the person’s consent is difficult.
    • When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and obtaining the person’s consent is difficult.
    • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency in carrying out affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the person’s consent may impede the execution of such affairs.

    Please note that all personal information may, in some cases, be processed into statistical data that cannot identify individuals and used for analytical purposes.

  • 3.Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

    Except in cases falling under the statutory exceptions*2, the Company will not provide personal information to any third party other than outsourcing contractors without obtaining the prior consent of the individual concerned.

    *2 Statutory exceptions refer to the following cases:

    • When the provision of personal information is required by law or regulation.
    • When it is necessary for the protection of an individual’s life, body, or property and obtaining the person’s consent is difficult.
    • When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and obtaining the person’s consent is difficult.
    • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency, or a party entrusted by them in carrying out affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the person’s consent may impede the execution of such affairs.

    When entrusting all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party, the Company will do so only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use, after confirming that the third party provides sufficient protection of personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. In such cases, the Company will enter into an agreement concerning the protection of personal information and will thereafter take appropriate supervisory measures.

    The Company will take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information it handles, as well as to ensure the overall safe management of such information.   • 4.Procedures for Requests Regarding Disclosure of Personal Information and Other Inquiries

    For requests concerning personal information held by the Company, such as disclosure, notification of the purpose of use, correction, addition, partial deletion, suspension of use, complete deletion, suspension of provision to third parties, or records of provision to third parties, or for any other inquiries, please contact the Company. (Please note that requests cannot be accepted through in-person visits to our offices.)

  • 5.Revisions to the Above Disclosed Information

    The Company may, without prior notice, revise the contents of the above disclosures in response to amendments to laws or guidelines, revisions to the Company’s Personal Information Protection Policy, or improvements and changes to its personal information management systems.
