Nabari Factory was founded in 1984 in Yabata Industrial Park of Nabari City, Mie Prefecture. The historical growth of production of automobiles, industrial equipments and machining equipments in Japan increased the demand for bearings. In response to this bearing market expansion, NKC Group installed new manufacturing facilities with the latest technologies for the mass-production of tapered roller bearing and ball bearing retainers in Nabari Factory. To meet the increasing demand for low-noise, high-longevity and lightweight products, another new facility specialized in the manufacture of plastic retainers/parts was established in 1987. In 2000, metal and plastic automotive part production lines were further expanded in order to contribute to the growth of Japanese automotive industry. The manufacturing technologies developed in Nabari Factory are subsequently implemented in NKC production lines in the US (NMC), the Philippines (NPC) and China (NWC), which has become the foundation of NKC's global expansion in business. |
