For the purpose of introducing NKC's products, services and other company's activities, we displayed the LED signboard (2.4 x 6 m) at the south of west-building in HQ. You can see this signboard from the train car of JR Osaka Loop Line while running between Temma and Sakuranomiya station. Please look for our remarkable red brick building and find our new LED signboard on the train.

Through the advertisement, we hope NKC will be more widely recognized as well as presenting our mission to society. We, NKC took part in the environment business trade show "Biwako Environment Business Messe 2011" and introduced our new environmental products. On the theme of "Successful combination of Environment and Economy" for building sustainable society and promoting a growth of environmental industry, this trade show was one of the great opportunities for expanding business chance and exchanging information about environmental products, technology and services. In our booth, two types of our new power generator "Windring" and "Windtree" and compact rechargeable lithium-ion battery "DENKEEP" were displayed.

To compete how appropriate and quick actions can be done in case of a fire, "The 28th Indoor Fire Hydrant Operation Contest" and "The 23rd Emergency call, Fire extinction and Rescue Contest" hosted by Nabari City Fire Protection Association were held in the City fire station in Oct. 18 in the aim of developing citizens' consciousness about prevention of fire. 24 teams and 130 people from the 373 association member companies participated in the contests and showed results of their usual fire practice. Two of our Nabari Plant teams joined the contests, and they monopolized the first and second prizes. This first prize is 4-year-consecutive-prize for the team and the other team won two prizes in a raw.
We, NKC would like to contribute local fire protection system through this kind of actions.

Promoting improvement of working women's environment and stimulating Kansai business with their vigorous power, which is the main theme of this festival, and we NKC has been sponsoring the event since its second festival was held in 2007. Not only "Walk" but also live music, stage performance, entertainment for kids and international foods at stalls were provided, and the sponsor groups introduced their action toward issues by displaying at their booths.
The event was a very good opportunity for talking about "improvement of working women's environment" over international foods and enjoyable various activities.

We, NKC has newly developed "DENKEEP", a compact lithium-ion rechargeable battery for storage of electricity in a time of emergency, and this new product was made in our EPD section which has been developing our environmental products mainly. DENKEEP is designed for usage for lights, PCs, phones at office or electric appliances at home, including TVs and refrigerators, therefore its compact size enables you to carry the product wherever you want to. The electricity storage capacity of DENKEEP is 1kWh which can provide sufficient electricity before lifeline gets restored.
We recognize that voluntary and positive action toward environmental issues is one of the very important corporate social responsibilities, and to fulfill this responsibility, we would like to contribute to environmental protect with developing and providing environmental products.

NKC's "Wind Power Generator", one of our major environment products, was displayed in "The 4 th Guangdong Energy Saving & Environmental Protection and New Energy Technology Exhibition 2011" held in Foshan, Guangdong. In keeping expanding Chinese market, fast-growing environmental product area also draws great concern, and a lot of people visited NKC's display booth of this exhibition. We would like to contribute to environmental protection globally with providing the wind power generator or other our environment products.

We, NKC developed and created our original EV (Electric Vehicle) with the EV subsidy from the Osaka prefectural government, and our one of subsidiaries "NEUES" whose business is to support venture companies, mainly has researched and developed this new Tricycle. Two wheels on the backward are geared with an iron chain and one wheel ups when the other downs, which enables the Tricycle to run smoothly on sharp bends or uneven roads without falling. The Tricycle can run at the speed of 40 km/h when adults ride in tandem. Mass production of the Tricycle will be completed before the end of March 2012 .

NKC Nabari Plant received honorable Gold Order of Merit (shield) from The Japanese Red Cross (JRCS) for its great contribution to the organization. JRCS has been recognizing the individuals or associations that have remarkably contributed to JRCS with presenting the Order of Merit since 1885, and Gold Order of Merit is the highest prize. The Prize is presented according to the value of the contribution or the type of service regarding JRCS. We are honored to accept this Gold Order of Merit and we would like to be continuously engaged in making more contribution to society.
